N.C. June Unemployment Dips Slightly to 11%

The News and Record reports today that North Carolina’s month-over-month jobless rate dropped a tenth of a percent.   

But Duke University economist John Coleman cautioned, “‘there’s no evidence of [recovery] in these numbers,'” and Michael Walden, of North Carolina State, is forecasting the unemployment rate here could reach 13% next year.
